Robert and Priscilla’s story began through a mutual friend on Facebook, but the real spark happened the first time they saw each other.Robert remembers seeing Priscilla and immediately making what can only be described as “googly eyes.” He thought she was absolutely beautiful and apparently wasn’t very subtle about it. Priscilla noticed right away and remembers thinking to herself, “He likes me.” She was right.What began with a look soon became something much deeper.As their relationship grew, Robert showed Priscilla what love could truly be. Not simply through words, but through his actions. He showed her that love means being present, being loyal, making someone feel protected and valued, laughing together, supporting one another, and continuing to choose each other even when life is not easy.For Priscilla, Robert became more than the man who once looked at her with those unmistakable googly eyes. He became her partner, her safe place, her biggest supporter, and the person who showed her that real love can be steady, genuine, and lasting.And Priscilla has given Robert that same kind of love in return.Over the years, they have built a life together filled with family, laughter, challenges, growth, and countless memories. Priscilla has been there not only for the happiest moments, but also through some of the most difficult chapters of Robert’s life.She stood beside him through the devastating loss of his brother Stuart, his brother Rod’s battle with dementia, and the heartbreaking loss of his grandchild. Through grief, change, and days when life felt unbearably heavy, Priscilla remained by his side.Robert knows that kind of love is rare.Their relationship has never been about having a perfect story. It has been about choosing each other through every season, taking care of one another, loving their family, growing together, and refusing to let even the hardest moments separate them.They have taught each other that love is not measured only by the wonderful days. Sometimes it is measured by who is still holding your hand on the worst ones.From those first unmistakable googly eyes to everything they have shared since, Robert and Priscilla’s love has grown into something strong, tested, faithful, and deeply meaningful.Now, surrounded by the family and friends who have been part of their journey, Robert and Priscilla are excited to celebrate not simply a wedding, but the life, love, and family they have built together and the many chapters still waiting to be written.
